Bodega Bay is located in West Sonoma County and is within driving distance of Healdsburg, Mendocino, Point Reyes, the Russian River, Sonoma and Napa. The Boathouse is situated on a wind-protected lot, overlooking the entire bay and harbor. The lot is surrounded by a state park and a short hike through the backyard takes you to Salmon Creek beach.

The property has four bedrooms, sleeping eight to ten people. There are two king and two queen beds, with superior mattresses. Only 100% cotton bedding is used.

There are two bathrooms, one with a large, open shower and another with a tub.

The Boathouse has a full, updated kitchen, with everything needed to prepare gourmet meals. There is a large propane grill on the back deck.

Outside you will find a secluded hot tub and outdoor shower, wrap around deck, oversized chaise lounges, a fire pit, dining table and benches and an herb garden. This is a “Pet OK” property, with a fenced in yard.

The Boathouse interior is flooded with natural light. There is a flame visible wood burning stove and plenty of comfortable, high-end furnishings. The house has several TV/DVD players and wireless high-speed Internet. Speakers carry music outdoors and throughout both floors of the property.

Renting a vacation home is a superior bargain, compared to hotel lodging. Families and pets have room to spread out and plenty of privacy. Preparing your meals in the Boathouse kitchen is an economical, culinary pleasure.
